Elementary School Invitational Information
Entry Fee: There will be no entry fee for this race, all entries are free for both individuals and teams. There is no advance registration.
Races: Girls Race is at 8:00 am, boys race is at 8:30. Both races are 1.5 miles. The races will be held at Lincoln Park’s North Pond area. This is located at Fullerton and Canon Dr, just north of Fullerton Ave. near the Peggy Notebart Nature Museum. Parking is available at the Diversey Ave. Driving Range. There may be a fee for parking.
Results: In order to tabulate results, coaches must turn in the envelopes provided. In the envelopes, you must place the finish cards that the runners will receive upon finishing. On the back of the finish card, please write the athletes name and school. You may abbreviate the name of the school. Feel free to use First initials with the names.
Team places will be tabulated by adding up the finish places of the first five runners from your team. Lowest score wins. We will not use displacement scoring (eliminating the runners beyond the eight runner on teams from the team scoring).
Awards: Top ten finishers will receive medals as they finish. All runners will receive a participation ribbon. We will award 1st and 2nd place plaques to the winning teams. Team plaques will be awarded after we have received all team envelopes. There will be no awards ceremony for the elementary school races.

Open race: following the elementary school races, we will be having a open race for any parent, coach, or non elementary/high school competitor. Entry to the open race is $5, and all proceeds will benefit the Quigley Alumni Association.
